About
A man, his family, his work.
I am Anthony MacGregor Clark. I live on a rural homestead near Brisbane with my wife and our children. I have spent twenty years building businesses — and almost as long learning how to do it without losing everything that matters.
Origin
The business that almost owned me.
In 2004 I co-founded Activation Products with my father. For two decades that company was my life — the school where I learned everything I now know about manufacturing, marketing, operations, hiring, and the long grind of actually building something real.
It also came close to taking everything else. One afternoon my five-year-old son told my wife there was no point asking me to play, because I was always on my phone. That sentence rearranged my career. I spent the next several years rebuilding how the business ran — learning proper marketing, building competent teams, delegating what I had been hoarding — so I could have my life back.
That experience is the reason I do what I do now. I help other founders build businesses that pay them back in time, not just money.
Who I am today
A homestead, a family, a table.
My wife and I are raising our kids on a rural property outside Brisbane, Australia. Chickens, vegetable garden, room to breathe, neighbours who know your name. It is not an aesthetic for me — it is a conviction. I believe deeply in country living, and I am wary of the city. Land, family, community, and good work: that is the life I am building.
Most of what I do now I can do from the homestead. Weekly strategy calls with clients, writing, building Vision App with my development partner, advising on Inher as it heads toward launch. The work is serious, but it is on my terms — and that is the whole point.
Faith
I am a Christian.
I say it plainly because it shapes everything — the business work, the homestead, the way I lead a family. I do not push it on anyone. I share freely with people who are genuinely interested and I let everyone else take what they find useful and leave the rest.
The worldview underneath the rest of this site — country living, community, doing things properly, the long view — traces back here. Acts 2 and Micah 4:4 describe the kind of life I am trying to build: people under their own vine and fig tree, knowing one another, living with purpose. That is the mission.
What I do now
Consultant. Operator. Educator.
I run a consulting practice for consumable-product ecom brands (Captains of Ecom). I co-founded and operate a pre-launch health business (Inher). I am building a forecasting and planning tool for ecom operators (Vision App). And I speak and write on how businesses actually get built — drawn from experience, not theory.
